Tbh his shooting was terrible, and to make it worse he seemed to just shoot warriors and not scarabs, barges, lords or immortals, which destroyed his army.
By the end of it he had about 200 points left while I had only lost 200 points ish, so a good result I believe.
O well guard next in a few weeks! This one I am going to struggle against!
He was probably making the mistake a lot of people are making at the moment and forgetting that the Phase Out rule is gone.
ReplyDeleteI've seen quite few people do that since the new book came out. They're finding it hard to break years of tried and tested anti-Necron doctrine
Give him time and a few more games and he'll adjust. Best to give Adam some advice before he has to play Marko.
ReplyDeletehaha point their colin, its not that khorne, he just ;eaves heavier stuff running around he knows it is not there now , and he has never played old necrons much anyway!
ReplyDeleteah,then just point out to him that the heavier stuff is going to hurt him more than the warriors.
ReplyDeleteAlso explain just how nasty scarabs can be under the new edition.
When I move back next week, i'll be happy to give him a few practice friendlies. I play guurd, csm and deamons though, as my necrons aren't ready yet
